First layer of varnish...

After removing scratches I applied 'vernice bianca' (egg-white and gum arabic).

In a couple of hours this has hardened and could be sanded (nr 500 sanding paper).

Time for the first layer of varnish (Hammerl 'öllack la' like on the bassviol)
